I happened to chance upon Bellydance Discovery and came to know that they are offering trial classes for Bellydance.
Being all curious, I signed up with a friend with no dancing background to begin with.
During the 1st lesson, I was taught basic dance steps and I was totally thrilled. I couldn’t believe that my body is able to thrust along with the groove and music.
I fell in love with bellydance instantly and I knew this is what I would want to pursue.
With long term practice, it helps to contour my body line and my posture was greatly improved.
The technique of this type of dance is aimed to improve the flexibility of your body. Moreover this is definitely an exercise that you will still see yourself doing even at the age of 70s or 80s.
Besides that, I used to have low self-esteem with no confidence. But through bellydance, today I can see the vast difference in me. I am able to present myself well in both personal and work life.
What started out as a curiosity in dancing has now become my passion.
Here I am sharing my personal experience and I would love to invite everyone to embark on a wellness journey with me.
This isn’t just a dance. It’s an amazing fun exercise/work out, where everyone can have fun!
I believe in sharing and having fun is the essence of learning and teaching.
