About Me

In 2004, I organized corporate bellydance class, with Yuki – Bellydance Discovery, for my company’s female colleagues as part of company’s wellness program.

After attending 2 rounds of corporate classes, I joined the regular classes with the rest of the other students.  During that time, letting loose of my body is the biggest challenge in dancing for me as I have very stiff and rigid body.   It was 2 years of bellydance classes, my body had finally learnt to relax and my dancing has become more smooth and fluid.  In 2006, I attended the instructor training course and started teaching since then.

I am back after taking a break from teaching for 1.5 years, and the teaching feeling is still so real and satisfying.  Now my world is full of love and warmth. I have a caring Turkish husband and a lovely baby girl. I want to pass on this additional positive energy that I have to my students.

What I want to see in my students

Through all these years of learning and dancing, I realized that as long as you keep a positive attitude, you already won half the battle in what you are striving.

You never know what is at the end of the tunnel unless you keep pursuing it.  So, don’t give up.
